Algal Oil

The algal oil containing DHA/EPA is mainly derived from Marine microalgae, such as Schizochytrium and Crypto-Dinoflagellum Kohsii. These algae are grown in a specific culture environment and cultured on a large scale by fermentation technology. Then, algae oil is extracted from algae cells by physical or chemical methods, and then refined and purified to obtain algae oil products rich in DHA and EPA.
Nutrient composition

DHA and EPA are the main active components of algal oil and have important physiological functions. In general, the content of DHA in algae oil is high, up to about 30%-50% of the total fatty acids, while the content of EPA is relatively low, usually around 5%-20%.
Other ingredients: In addition to DHA and EPA, algal oil also contains a number of other nutrients, such as vitamin E, sterols, phospholipids, etc. These components have antioxidant, cell protection and other effects, and DHA and EPA synergistic health care effect.
