Taxifolin, also known as Dihydroquercetin, is a bioflavonoid extract (a form of vitamin p) extracted from the roots of the alpine larch, and is a natural antioxidant. It is soluble in ethanol, acetic acid, boiling water, slightly soluble in cold water, almost insoluble in benzene.
